Before you do ANYTHING please get an insurance quote. Adrian Flux are the only company in the UK I have heard of that will cover NOS. See if its worth worthwhile :)

Good idea mate. ;) Don't want you to go to the expense of having all this kit fitted and they then turn round and charge you a ridiculous amount of money and because they seem to be the only company that covers NOS you can't really go elsewhere :o

WON told me a progressive controller is a very advisable idea. Its not a neccesity, but deffo a good and worthwhile precaution to take.

dave, how much would a set of rods and pistons run me?? pm me if u prefer mate.

Like gord said rods will be ~£700 plus fitting, i think pistons will have to be custom made, but you could just upgrade the rods in theory as their the weak point and there isnt a problem with the piston AFAIK.
