Hi guys, i am so happy :D

Today i bought my first Lexus IS200, it on Vreg done 101000 miles full service history, looks so clean and tidy.

Paid £2800 from from Ford dealer. I tell you guys i did owned quite a lot cars even newer than Lexus, like BMW, Volvo but never felt so exided like now.

So here some questions.

1. How is like on petrol? What mpg you get guys? My most driving around town.

2. How reliable is Lexus? I read reviews and i know that its very reliable car, but any way what i have to look after in this age of car?

3. Is it expencive to service it? What time is timing belt is due to service?

Thanks guys.

Welcome mate,

As for the questions:

1. How is like on petrol? What mpg you get guys? My most driving around town.your prob looking at high 20's with normal driving, lower if your booting it

2. How reliable is Lexus? I read reviews and i know that its very reliable car, but any way what i have to look after in this age of car? excellent reliability, look out for sticking front brake calipers and check the timing belts been done.

3. Is it expencive to service it? What time is timing belt is due to service? With the current 2nd hand car market, you may as well get it serviced at a local garage rather than Lexus. And cam belt is 6yrs or 60k miles.

Welcome to the forums :)

I don't think you'll have much trouble with it. My car has 55k on the clock and drives like new, it's brilliant.

They're not great on fuel (considering they're not that quick either!) but if you're round town it sounds like you're not doing a lot of miles, so probably not too much of a problem
