Headlight Beam Adjustment

How do you adjust the head light beam on the Is200 (2000 model)

i know there is the switch inside the car but when then the beam is tooo low.

i know normaly you would have screw or somthing on the headlight aswell to adjust the beam level, but i cant seem to see/find it.

can one help please....

There's a little white plastic screw on the back of the headlight which you need to turn to adjust the beam (can't remember which way does what). This is a pretty poor pic but will show you what I'm talking about :)

If there is an icon where the picture should be, right click it and select the view picture option. This workes for me sometimes, but it does depend on your companys security settings.

It's explained in the online manual here

Click on Repair Manual, then Body Electrical, then Headlight and Taillight System, then Adjustment. There are two pages, and it shows that there is a screw for vertical adjustment and one for horizontal adjustment.

I'd always recommend headlight adjustment being done professionally on one of those laser beam thingies. I had mine done by my local Lexus dealer - just popped in there on my way home one night and they did it for me there and then for free.
