The automatic light sensor on the dashboard. What is it for?

How does the satnav screen decide whether to go dark or not? As there are times when my lights switch on but the screen stays light

i think it is within the corner of the satnav screen....i cant recall, but i found it years ago when being miffed myself

auto lights are exactly what they say....they go on and off depending upon the level of light.

So there is another one! It's definitely well hidden, will have to have a nose around at some point :)

The auto lights are pretty simple, turn the stalk to "auto" and they'll come on in the dark, and switch off in the light.

The solar sensor boosts cool air through the centre vents when there is strong sunshine coming through the front windscreen............
