Evening chaps.

There is a wealth of differences between the number of 3s engines, the rev3 3sgte is far more tuneable than the others due to its head/cams/sump design. The 3sgte is a far stonger package than the others too mainly due to the rods that can hold upto 500hp, sourcing tuning parts for the 3sgte is easier too for example clutches for power. The 3sgte has had many years of tunig behind it and a wealth of resources. Turboing the tezza is good if 300bhp is your ending point, installing the 3sgte will start with 300bhp and the sky is the limit.

HTH.

Oh yeah we put a dummy engine in situ today to check if my measurements with regard to the position of the gearbox were correct, now im not usually big headed :whistling: but I got it bang on with only a 5mm to play so that the sump sits of the power steering and subframe properly whilst not clashing with the antiroll bar :shifty:

We were looking into wiring diagrams today and overcoming issues related to the security system and transponder, its quite a complex little gem.

Modifying the aircon system is also nearly done.

Cheers

James

Hi guys here is a sneak preview of how we are getting on, its been very demanding and testing our skills, there will a delay whilst we wait for parts contracted to other companies but the bulk of the work is done and most importantly to a very high standard.

I havnt been online much with the workload will try to get on a bit more as we start to peice the last bits of the jigsaw together.

So thats the dummy engine?

are you having the standard turbo on? is that the same as in the pic? as it looks pretty big, is there going to be much lag?

Also, is there much problem with the exhaust being on the other side?

Looks good though mate,.
