£150 for a bit of tube and a 90 degree silicon elbow i might start making these and sell them for £120!!!!! :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

shouldnt dave be calling the guy to sort it out... not the other way around esp as the buyer has left various messages??

sorry to butt in, bought bonnet struts on 05-06-2009, bought from prolex website directly, tried to pay by credit card but credit card system was down so paid by paypal. got an email from him asking what i had bought, i sent a reply. still not received anything so sent an email today asking what is up. wish i had seen this thread before. will let you know how i get on also if that's ok.

Some people beggar belief,

Regardless whether he is at fault or not (sounds like he is though) Would you really want you name to be dragged through a forum who are your main customer base?

Strange.

You think he would want to sort the problem out ASAP, very short sighted.

Here is the email I sent.

Think it says it all.

Customer did not call as I asked (at time of typing)

I'd also like to point out that its not unreasonable for me to wait until the following morning to respond to a voicemail/e-mail as I am entitled to some time off.

Not sure if the customer who forwarded it on to this customer is on here hopefully he is and can verify that when his kit went walkabout he called round to my place to collect his replacement kit so this is not a return.

To date I've not had any returns and sold shedloads of this kit

The kit was not fitted to another car.

Was sent to a guy in Kent and never arrived. He tracked the parcel and it was sent to the Roya; Mail sorting office in Blefast.

Meanwhile I sent him another kit.

It then turned up at his house and he held it for me until you bougfht it.

If the box was unopened when you got it then I suppose the PO opened it.

Regarding fitting there is NOTHING missing.

You have got the silicon tube the wrong way round thats all. Its slightly higher one said that the other.

I have ssold over 50 of these kits to date with not one return so am confident in what I say.

So to recap. Kit is brand new to the best of my knowledge and try to fit again with rubber tube the other way round.

If that doesnt work I have a fitting centre in Blandford who will fit it for you for free.

I'm working from home to day so am reachable on 020831******

Regarding the bonnet struts..............you did not check out of the buying process properly so the system takes your money but doesnt tell me what you have ordered. Hence my email to you.

These should be with you anyday now. Unfortunately I hold limited stocks and get caught out from time to time if I get a rush on. This is the same for many retailers :whistling:
