Boot Release Lever

My boot release lever was working fine, i used it to open the boot the lever a few hours later and the lever feels very light and weak an no longer opens the boot. anyone else had this problem? or does anyone know how to fix it? Thanks in advance.

may have snapped the wire.

alternatively if you lock the boot with the key the in car lever no longer works. check the lock of the boot is vertical not horizontal

never knew if you locked it with the key the lever does not work but would the boot open with the button on the key fob if its locked?

yes it does open with the fob ,its all explained in the manual!

the lock on the boot was horizontal, put it to verticle and it works fine. Thanks once again.
