Is300 Being Delivered - What Should I Look Out For?

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

I've just put a deposit down on an IS300 that is being driven down to me on Wednesday for me to look at before buying. Obviously I will be checking the following:

- General bodywork condition (rust / paint / resprays / filler etc)

- Interior condition

- Buttons, knobs and dials all working along with engine check light connection

- Service history and stamps vs clock mileage (it apparently has 7 Lexus stamps and cambelt was replaced last year).

- Knocks and bangs over bumps + any rattles

It's coming from a dealership that will give me 3mths guarantee, but is there anything else I should be looking at? Or any faults specific to IS300?
