Hi , can anyone tell me which model ls430 had keyless entry and double glazing from ? Or did they all have it.

Is the double glazing a myth ??? Lol

I'm researching my next car which is either going to be a series4 or 430' have found most of my answers from the search feature and these two I'm stuck on.

Thanks. Steve.

I have a 2001 and mine has both of these features. However in the handbook it does give details for normal locking too? The windows do have two sheets of glass so when you are buying make sure there is no sign of condensation between them. If you go for a 430 try to get some sort of warranty on the height sensors if they haven't been replaced.

Having had a mk4 and now a 430 I would say the mk 4 seemed more relaxed, perhaps a softer ride and was more economical giving low 30s on a run as opposed to high 20s. it was better than my previous mk3 probably due to vvti engine and 5 speed box.

The 430 feels a bit quicker and seems too roll less in the corners as if the suspension is a bit stiffer, more sporty if you can use that word for the LS.

Both are excellent cars though I think the front of the Mk 4 looks better, just my opinion.

Thanks for the replies guys, job done,

As for the change Pete the mk4 is a facelift mk3 to me with all the changes mainly underneath(apart from new front end and alloys) so would it be enough of a change ?

I'd love a 430 but will take on board what u say about the stiffer suspension, the height sensors are my biggest concern .I've got a couple of months to make my mind up lol

Steve.
