Driver Side Front Caliper Binding

Hi all,

Got a slight problem with my Lex the driver side front caliper seems to be binding slightly well I guess it is as I get a horrible metalic scrapping noise every rotation of the wheel- only sometimes though it comes and goes, sometimes theres no sound there at all.

It was really bad at first, sounded like a Cricket (the insect lol), so I was going to order some new pads and discs, would I need a new caliper as well or should cleaning up the current caliper and regreasing do the job?

Just want to check if I will need anything else other than pads and discs really.

Hi Ormi, the plot thickens.. well sort of lol, the side affected seems to be missing the shield completely, also the noise seems come on when I do full lock to the left (and continue for a while once I straighten up) also seems to come on more when I go over bumps.
