First of all I would like to say thank you for all the useful information on your forum, I read a lot of stuff before buying my Lexus. I purchased a Black IS200 on Saturday afternoon, it has 110k on the clocks since 2000 with full service history.

I was a bit wary of buying a car for £2k but the car seems mint, the bodywork, interior and engine are all perfect and it drives like a dream!

Iv got to say after owning it just a few days im very impressed at the build quality and how well this car has stood up over the last 11 years.

The only niggle I have is the handbrake light sometimes stays on when the handbrake it down, I am going to have a look into it at the weekend but its a tiny problem for a 11 year old car.

Hope to be around for a while :D!

if it only stays on sometimes it seems to me one of your brake lights is loose, mine used to do it after i'd changed my bulbs, I hadn't put one back in properly
