All,

I am sorry if this has been answered many times before but I cant see any references to where is a reliable and reasonably priced place in the UK to buy a HID D4S bulb, either online or somewhere in London/Essex.

I have a late 2006 GS300 and the dipped main on the passenger side has gone. Lexus quoted £202 just for the bulb.

Thank you in advance.

There is a Toyota Optifit version available for about £70 + vat.

Hi, google this bulb and you will find it a lot less money but are you sure it is the bulb? last time mine did this it turned out to be the headlamp control unit not the bulb, thankfully was changed under the warranty, time before that the bulb stayed out for about a week and has worked perfectly for about a year since!

Hi Lexus had a look at the car and said that it wasnt a loose connection or anything and that it was the bulb. I suppose it could be the control unit but they didnt mention anything about that.

1 Lexus garage, who I was passing said my bulb had failed but they had no stock so I ordered replacement through ususal dealer who found it not to be the bulb, have you thought of swopping bulbs from left to right?

Actually, thats a thought - by doing a swap I'll be able to tell if its a bulb issue or the control unit.

Check out eBay if it's the bulb...
