I had a p.c monitor in the back of my car and forgot about it... Unfortunately it was not supported very well and must have rocked a fair bit whilst going round corners. I now have 5 small raised dents when looking at the rear side boot panel wher the corner of the monitor was bashing it from the inside, Can these little mounds be rubbed back in flat?

Please do not go :offtopic: as I would like as much info as poss on what to do

jac :D

i dont suggest doing it yourself unless you are very carefull and know what you are doing, otherwise you can cause more damage when trying to knock dents out !!!!

we use a sand bag to back up the other side of the dent and surrounding material and an assortment of soft face deadblow hammers for dents

Not being an expert, I'd be worried that I'd end up making it worse - sorry, not meaning to cast doubt on your abilities. If you don't manage to do it yourself, try Dent Magician in Small Dole (Henfield), maybe 45-50min drive from Guildford. They fixed my door after I made the mistake of parking in Tesco's car park. Cost just £69 and it's good as new now, which seems really good value :)

The guy who runs it was really helpful, so maybe if you called for advice, they'd give you some pointers? Good luck.
