Touch Up Paint

Can anyone please tell me where I can buy some (grey) touch up paint for my 1995 LS 400. Inchcape Toyota/Lexus (Ebay) didn't have this colour. So if anyone can point me in the right direction - thanks.

There is a site on the web Paints4u.com I get all my paint for the lexus from them just supply them with your paint code ,be in the owners manual or on your vehicle plate under the bonnet.You are better off getting a kit including the primer , base colour and clear cote. Then you can build the spot up properly .Just spray enough into the lid of the aerosol can then apply with a fine needle or brush.

Have to say that I did use a little bit of touch up paint to my black Ls400, results are not too good to be honest,

It was correctly mixed Lexus Black but it does not look so good you might think :)

I know what you mean, it never looks perfect but with care you can make it look not so bad by waiting for the first top coat to dry then applying again, maybe several times. It certainly looks better than the white undercoat showing after a stone chip.

Recently repaired the rust along the top of windscreen.

Used Halfords colour matching , £15 quid a tin but a perfect match.

Better than the 'supposed correct' off the shelf tin was - it was noticably too light , my paint is the dark blue.

If you could get paint code somewhere, then for instance Halfords can mix touch up paint for you.

I think Lexus black paint code was 202, not 100% sure tough.

I get all my paint from Sprayteq (01423 733356) I gave them my paint code and it was ready within 6 hours! £9.99 for a kit
