I'm sure I'm not the only one but have had an intermittent problem refuelling. Insert the nozzle, pull the trigger and within a couple of seconds it cuts out as you would expect when the tank is reaching the brim. I thought it was me and have tried a variety of solutions, without success.

Yesterday another Lexus owner noticed the problem and said it was to do with air in the tank, and the solution is to wait for 30 seconds or so before inserting the nozzle. By this point I had given up with £20 in the tank but will try it on the next visit. Probably tomorrow as £20 goes nowhere!

Hope this helps anyone else who experiences this.

Try pulling the nozzle out slightly when filling, if you push the nozzle right in the fuel tends to hit the back part of the filling tube and splashes back up the nozzle stopping the pump, you can also try not squeezing the trigger fully, squeeze it half way, this way the fuel wont come out so fast witch will also stop the splash back, it will just take you a little longer to fill up.
