Hi all,

My car has been standing still for 3 days and i got a flat Battery, noticed my phone charger is still plugged into the 12v socket, my keys are not opening the car (i have tried both keys and both fobs with new batteries installed) still no joy.

Short of smaching the front windscreen, does anyone know how i cvan get in to release to bonnet catch to allow me to charge the Battery.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sunny :phone:

open the boot with the key, open the storage extension on the back of the seat and send a small child through it to unlock one of the doors??

Thanks for the idea Rory, just had a look there seems to be a pouch / bag which opens inwards into the boot area, can this bag be removed, is that the armrest section?

Call me thick but I don't understand how your key won't open the door using the actual key not the fob button?

Does it not when the battery goes flat?

Chris, good question why dont the keys work, for all i know in 9 years of owning the car this is the first time im trying to open the doors without using the fob, so between 9 years to present day the door lock has become faulty, but isnt that always the way.... you dont know its broken/faulty till you need to use it.

PS

One small volunteer is being drafted in tomorrow to open the door. :hocus-pokus:
