Make Sure Your Car Is Locked Properly!

Recommended Posts

I wonder how many of you might have seen this very interesting article on car theft ..............

http://www.motoring.co.uk/car-news/high-tech-gangs-steal-cars-in-moments_48723?utm_source=motoring.co.uk%26utm_medium=newsletter%26utm_campaign=news

it doesn't mention Lexus but I would imagine that it does apply

A little worrying don't you think. I have now got into the habit of making sure my car is securely locked before I walk away from it now.

Yep!! if it means you have to pull the door handle aswell just to double check before walking away! but no matter how secure a car is, car thiefs will always be one step ahead if they know what they doing.

That won't work if you have the key/pad on your person with a lot of modern cars .because the car door will open as it recognises the device

Dave, I think that whe you have locked the car, if you pull on the handle within 3 seconds the door won't open, therefore the check will have been carried out.
