You know there's the geek test posted on LOC also? Well this is how much of a geek I am.......whenever I get one of those fill in the blanks excel sheets, I always try and crack them. Some are absolutely piece of cake, but what I really find a challenge is the ones that have hidden the formulas, locked and protected all the cells, and password protected it. I like a good challenge :)

Ok, I'll get my coat.

Oh - :offtopic: oops !!

Anyway......the BMW vs Mercedes emblem question.

ahhh that one was easy!!!

His points cell is full of "IF" formulas, and so directs you straight to where the answers are !!!

was it?

not looked for ages.

had to rip it to getsome answers, cos the "maker" had spelt the answers wrong

knew the answer, but couldn't get it to give me the points because of spelling errors in the sheet

I find things like that SOOO funny !!!

It has to be exact (i.e. sometimes you have to try things like feat. or featuring, you know the sorts of things I mean) and then they go balls it up by spelling it wrong anyway !! donuts !!!!

Thats a naughty question noone really knows...

"Diesel died under mysterious circumstances in 1913, vanishing during an overnight crossing of the English Channel on the mail steamer Dresden from Antwerp to Harwich. Diesel's death might have been suicide, accidental or an assassination. Proponents of the assassination theory point out that shortly after Diesel's death, a diesel-powered German submarine fleet became the scourge of the seas. Diesel had been friendly to France, Britain and the United States"

and finally...

"The most viable suggestion was that the talented inventor might

have fallen victim to a contract murder. The killer could have been hired by

the coal industrialists, financially crumpled by the advent of Rudolf

Diesel's economical engine. The murder could also have been the revenge of

the German generals, still rattled by Dr.Diesel's refusal to take part in

the development of the country's top-secret weapon, the flame-thrower.

More than 85 years after that tragic rainy night in September, the untimely

death of Dr.Rudolf Diesel is still a mystery..."

So whats the answer then Fidgits, obviously you know something we and many others don't :D :D :D

Actually... less of the conspiricy theory Ryan... the official statement is that he commited suicide because his engines were being used in German tanks... and as you said, he was friendly to the french...
