Didnt make the reserve, would be interesting to know where the seller has set his sights on price. £2.5k I would have thought would be a good price but wont be surprised if its nearer £3k. Bearing in mind cam belt done and already LPGd. On top of that you have a nice ride down to beautiful Devon to pick it up and come home via Cornwall. Mike

I hope so. There is a light green one on eBay starting of at a £1000. Its a 99 t reg, its got full history but brake pad warning light just come on. I dont know whether to check it out. 2 owners

Hence the Eagle eyed LOC member with super eyesight that noticed the wings (Eagle? Wings? that's very cleaver pure accident) were a different colour. I remember when I had good eyesight together with other body parts that these days need lotions and potions to keep it all together. If I knew then what I know now I would never have got old I would have stayed around the mid 30s. Mike

it doesnt really junp out at you that one - not very well described plus looks unloved - dusty dash, seats and carpets plus the side light appears to have water in it??

One annoying detail when browsing some of these eBay ads for LS400's-or other models for that matter, is that in the item specifics section, or description, the mileage is stated as 0.....what is that all about then? just puts me right off the seller from the start.

When I see that plus Previous Owner not there I rarely go any further, I find it really annoying that these details and others are not put in and I don't see why eBay don't make a stipulation that all these things are filled in before you can publish it on eBay. Mike

I agree & by not disclosing that info at the outset the seller is giving the buyer an excuse to walk away

There is a tidy 97' LS400 for sale,( set price, no bidding required) located in Carlisle, no current mileage given, no previous owner details either, looks like a nice buy, though he's asking £1,995 for it, as if that's not enough to put a potential buyer off,he stipulates a 'will swop for a jet-ski' option, dig deeper into his other items for sale,( numerous anonymous cars) and he's an avid swopper, call me old-fashioned, but.........
