Coolant Loss From Reservoir Breather

2007 220d ..... opened the bonnet and pink coolant splashed all over :( topped it up but keeps doing it

Cars booked into Lexus Milton Keynes on the 2nd April for 70k service

i await the news of .... Its your head gasket thats gone sir :(

i suppose its not something simple lol

Sounds very much like the head gasket...my commiserations.

well i'll find out how honorable the 7 year 110k head gasket replacement is :S got a fully stamped service book ... hope that helps lol

My head gasket is fine and I get some coolant around the expansion bottle top. I sometimes wonder f the cap itself is at fault or else there is a slight air lock in the system.

that did cross my mind tbh but it seems to be getting more and more being pushed out

will try and see tomorrow if its an air lock

Released some air and now noticed the heaters run cold more often than warm ... So will replace the thermostat next
