Cant seem to find a website that tells me MSRP of cars when new. Want to know how much my Lexus IS200 SE Auto nav cost new :)

According to my Parkers Iphone app, it would have been £23,620 when new if a 2000 X plate.

Annual Inflation since 2000 being 29% makes it £30469 at todays figures

It's amazing to think I paid £1,400 for my IS200, 2001 with FSH and it drives so well, everything just works and it looks amazing!!

I'm glad u bring this topic up....I'm not sure when is the last time u guys check the price of ISF , now u can pick one up for about 25k, that's would Bout 20% of full price bk than. I guess time to save up and put that deposit down guys lol.

Like you say G inflation plays a part but still quite a bargain though

Anyway im very grateful for all the ppl out there that once walked into a Lexus showroom and bought our IS's brand new so 13 years down the line i can afford one

I wonder if theres any LOC IS200/300 owners that bought one new? i know theres a few that have had them 7 or 8 years....

When the is200 was launched in S.Africa back during 1999, they were a shade over R200 000. Used ones in good shape (which are as rare as hen's teeth!) sell for anywhere between R60000 and R100000. We really get ripped off for cars here in SA.
