Im thinking of trying to install a Nexus 7 tablet to use as Sat-Nav and music etc...

have you figure out how the wiring setup for your Nexus 7 tablet mod?

I'm not sure if I should try and install it permanently in the dash which would require wiring etc or to set it below the current single din Sony head unit...

This may be what I do as the head unit is Bluetooth so I can use A2DP for the music and also Sat Nav as well...

some might agree that it would ideal to install a double din with all "extra" as you weren't sure what "to be or not to be" issue

if the wiring mod done properly you can sell it off as a unit "plug and play" thingy depend on what gadget mod on.

too much hassle? could try this out Item number:370770222009 on £bay

would spent on service then gadget as you done pretty good job keeping your car clean up and running smooth
