If I remember I got mine from Lexus main dealer quoting the VIN number which also contains the exact paint colour. I'm not a great fan of touch up paint, it's great for short term protection but it can look awful unless you are really skillled. Ive just had my bonnet resprayed and obviously it's a much better solution

Thanks TeejayBee.

Need my bonnet spraying too and will probably do front and rear bumpers at the same time .Have one or two stone chips elsewhere which I just want to touch in. Also have slight beiginnings of corrosion on very edge of rear door but will have that done proffesionally also. Cant afford a new one but I love my cars and like to have them looking as pristine as time and money allows. No wonder I couldn't find the paint code if it's the vin no.

THANKS AGAIN

Chris

The three character colour code is all you need, you don't need the VIN number (although the code is on the same VIN plate). Lexus/Toyota dealers do touch up paints, may take them a day or two to receive stock. Halfords do the more common colours.
