I have the electronic internals and a new key with blank faces. Any clues in the Guildford, Surrey area where I might get the original profile copied onto the new key?

I took a pic on my Iphone and he is cutting the replacement key today. Will report the result on Friday.

It arrived 2 days later, Key cost £6.16 + got cut locally for £12 = Total cost = 18.16

I have just bought a rx 350 with a broken key and found this site who also cut the key if you have the master key number not tried it yet but looks reasonable

I see my key is being delivered tomorrow. I took a pic of the key and Jim must have a set of key profiles because he came back with the Lexus code for my key in about 4 minutes.....

They all beat getting one from a dealer....... :)

Has any one tried the new style folding key and succesfully paired with existing internals and managed to get the blade cut.

I like the folding style. Other concern would be that the folding style fits the barrel and housing on the dashboard okay.

Would like to try one but not without experience or informed advice.

My new key arrived this morning and works perfectly and the actual machining is of very high quality.

Thanks Dan and Rad whilst I would like the folding key think I will hang on as mine is working okay at the moment and it certainly doesn't look straight forward.
