Armrest For Front Passenger

Recommended Posts

I will be picking up my new IS at the beginning of September and I wondered if anyone had found an adaptor to convert the front cupholders into an arm rest.

I cant find anything on Google and accessory sites so maybe the car is still too new.

http://www.lexus.eu/...ex#/Accessories It looks like the ash tray/small bin accessory is designed to fit in the arm rest cup holder. If not, I'm sure Lexus or someone else will soon start selling a small padded plug in black leather to fit the cup holders.

My wife has her front seat right back & does not have an issue & believes the lidded cup holder may be less comfortable----wonder what the Americans have concluded?.

When my wife first sat in the IS300H the first thing she noticed was that there were cup holders where she wanted to rest her arm! Like Wicksy I will never use them as cupholders, so I agree that some kind of padded filler would be a good idea.

One of the first comments my wife made during our first journey in our new IS 300h was in relation to her elbow hitting the hard plastic, which is the cup holders. My 86 year old mother also commented about it and she's a small lady! This is a shame because generally we love the car.
