Thinking Of Selling, What's A Sensible Price?

Having 3 cars is getting a bit impractical, and as the LS is the most impractical of them all, so it may have to go. What do you think is a sensible price for a 99 MK4 with 103K

She's in good nick and buffs up a treat. Cam belt is maybe getting close to needing doing, Lexus history up to 75K

Compare asking prices on eBay and Autotrader.

has the cam belt never been replaced? I thought it was every 10 years or 100,000 whichever comes sooner, either way if my figures are correct it is well overdue and that's a £500.00 job which may result in some haggling on the asking price.

Please don't turn this into a for sale situation :)

Thanks Steve, don't worry, if I sell it won't be mentioned on here. The cam belt was changed in 2007 at 52K, but as there seems to be conflicting info on the interval I wasn't sure. I should have also mentioned it has a private plate. Anyway, after Christmas I'll decide, but much depends on business etc. We have a combined tax and insurance on 3 cars of £1,300 before we even think about servicing etc.....but then I tell myself, some people spend more than that in a year on fags!

the cambelt interval on mine on was originally due for change at 62000 miles or 10yrs,in the handbook, which is what i have kept to,as phil had flsh up to 75k its prob been done once, and wont need doing until its done 125/130k,i know they seem to have adjusted the interval has times gone on ,but originally it was 62k
