Hi can anyone help me?

I have recently purchased a beautiful LexusCT200H Advance and need some help with transferring my contacts from my blackberry.

I have set up the Bluetooth so i can make calls and recorded some names but thats as far as the instructions take me. I have also set my Iphone for music but cant set that one to connect for phone use. I would like to be able to select which phone i want to use as bb is for work and Iphone personal.

Thx in advance Di

Hi Jeremy, I have spoken to many technical experts at Lexus and the end result is that the Iphone is incompatible with the non-nav system, but it is compatible with android phones. The only way to use the Iphone in a ct200h that has non-nav is to buy a Parrot MKI9100 as an add on. Lexus Head Office are not worth bothering with frankly.

i personally cant believe that soooo many people have issues with lexus and the issues are mainly small that shouldn't exist.you have paid for a premium brand and car and you should be able to take for granted that certain things like the Iphone will work with your handsfree system, you shouldn't have any rattles in the interior paneling, transfering of contacts should be just a push of a button,But lexus just tries to make your life awkward AND this is the only thing they have succeeded in doing.

I suspect that a lot of dealers are only too aware of the shortfalls of some of the hands free systems. Every dealer i have encountered has offered to set up our phones for us on our hands free. As it happens, we have a 7 year old Prius with an older , more reliable simple system on it which works very well and we have a base model CT200 with a base model hands free which does what it is supposed to do. We twin up the phones and programme the numbers which we need to use on a regular basis and forget about the higher levels of technology which are theoretically better. I am glad that I haven't had the disappointment of paying for something which more often than not , doesn't work or is difficult to get to work.
