Any Reason Toyota Can't Fit A Battery?

If my Battery (looks like original so 5 years old) is shot is there any reason Toyota can't fit one?

I have a dealer down the road but lexus is 40 mins away.

Absolutely no reason at all, in fact it'll probably be exactly the same Battery as your Lexus dealer would fit......at a slightly lower cost!

Some Toyota dealers won't touch lexus. Probably orders from above lol. Normally these are the Toyota dealers with a Lexus dealer close. For example there are 2 Toyota main dealers in Bristol but neither would touch my lex, both told me to go to Lexus Bristol

When I bought my last Battery and oil filter from Lexus Derby I watched the guy walk out of the building across to the Toyota dealer and then come back with both items.

You do get a Lexus receipt though :)

Lexus Coventry (Listers) also own Toyota dealership on same site. The parts dept. is in the Toyota building as is the workshop.

My toyota dealer offered to do the cambelt on mine? so not sure why they wouldnt fit a Battery. Your breakdown company should offer this service. I buy numax batterys and fit them myself though :)
