Sat Nav Is200se?

Hi people,

I bought a IS200se in March 2003 (red one) but they had only a few in the uk at this time. Car was shipped from Nottingham to London.

None had Sat Nav but i needed the car as my last car (not a lexus ofcourse) died :)

The dealer tells me that the sat nav only comes as factory fitted (ive not pressed them on the subject yet), but i'm wondering if i can get the full install to my car 3rd party?

Looking for something like sat nav, tv + rear view camera?

I've seen conversations about the IPAQ satnav as the best one to get firstly....

Am i asking too much or is there somewhere that will do it for me. I'm in london area by the way.

Yes there are 3rd party ones that will fit...

I dont know of any though, hopefully someone will come along and give more advice..

hi mate,i tried everywhere to get sat nav ,your right you can only get it factory fitted.i tried scrap yards yhe lot.i give in in the end and got a portable one instead.if you do any better give me a shout :)

So what we are saying is...

Go to a breakers, buy a ripped out Sat nav with Cable LOOM (important), install it then maybe upgrade the thing to something like a IPAQ at 400 squid.........

Total price looking about 800 or more... still cheaper that the factory fitted, but this ofcourse excludes fitting...

Shame it doesn't come with the camera and tv :(
