LSD has nothing to do with Traction control. It is a mechanical device, it doesn't start or stop working, you either have one or you don't.

If you want to see if you have a LSD then jack up the rear of the car. Make sure the handbrake is off and it's not in gear. With a normal diff if you spin one wheel the other one will spin the other direction. You should also be able to stop one wheel spinning whilst still being able to spin the other.

If you have a LSD when you spin one wheel the other will turn in the same direction. If you stop one wheel from turning you will not be able to turn the other one, not without a large amount of force.

Your car will not have a LSD...

The reason is, you can only get Auto in the SE, and only the sport model comes with a LSD.

Basically, all the LSD does is stop the power being spun away on the inside wheel.. By 'limiting the slip' to any single wheel.. (you need a differential, because going around corners, the wheels will rotate at different speeds)...

You dont really need one, unless you are planning a lot of power increase (say 25%), or you are doing fast road/track work..

And the Traction does kinda prevent the need for one, as when the power begins to be spun away, it will cut in and limit the power.. of course, if you had a LSD, the traction wouldnt 'cut in' as soon..
