name is carlos from london, i just picked up a 2002 is200 after having my civic type r written off, i bought this as a temporary vehicle but i quite like it now and may hold on to it for a little while. so where better to find lexus experts, apologise if i sound like a amateur at times, look forward to getting involved in discussions and taking in knowledge :) :) :)

Sorry to hear about the CTR, but welcome from another Honda fan. :)

If you decide you like the IS but miss the peaky delivery of VTEC, it might be worth hunting out an Altezza JDM import with the BEAMS engine (4-pot high-revving Yamaha engine). I'm sure some forumites must have them.

Well I actually came across this car by chance so didn't really look for the altezza.

May replace with a bmw 335d coupe towards end of next year, but yer I do really miss my civic
