Lexus Paint Chips Repair Kit Question

I'd agree with Geoff, if it weren't for the second part, where the pimple gets flattened.

Coupled with the 48h, which suggests letting the repair harden, which in turn suggests polishing rather than washing.

My guess would be to use a cutting compound, to blend in the repair.

I have a small patch on my bonnet about 2 inch square looks like the lacquer has come off but paint still seems fine can I repair this myself or will it need to be done by a pro

Thank you Stuart

I have only had my is for a few months now and when I was washing her last month I noticed this patch

I am a new member and not sure how to post pictures but I thought it was a job for a paint shop

For the size you are saying I would agree. I can't imagine a DIY job looking looking good.

If you are registered on photobucket you can use that site to host pictures and just paste the link on a reply to a topic. It's free.
