Gaydon Meet - Idea

This is not meant to hijack the actual meet thread, so please use the other thread to sign up to this meet.

However looking at the people signed up we have some pretty special cars coming - Dave Ellen in the Supercharged Beastie, Mat with the Monster and maybe the Race Car? myself in the turbo'd freak mobile maybe Maz with the Rage machine? On top of this we have everyone else in LOC, Honda, TOC and a few other clubs - Has anyone invited Jap Performance, Banzai or Turbo etc. to see if we could get them to attend?

Just an idea?

Maybe we could get that dyno (thor?) (dyna pak) can't remember which one, to attend?

What would help is to send in a couple of photos,(not under bonnet shots)!!just give them a taster.....or send them an e-mail, starting off with, have you heard about what LOC are up to?tempt em over the phone :winky:

Yeah,reading through other posts it now looks like the only beast coming would be Dave Ellens as Mat and Simon look like they have other commitments.....shame really!!

Don't know what the car mag editors are like, but general rule of thumb is to not ring and chase -- publications get so many press releases that it tends to rub off on people the wrong way (learnt that the hard way!)

That's in business though, so will see. If I've not had any response back the week before, I'll follow up.
