  2. Had a good time though the number of runs was heavily restricted by the weather, I could only get in three before I had to head home. I was getting better though finding out how much more I could take out my time will have to wait. Best time I could manage was 13.6 seconds with a 1/4 mile speed of 108. Bloody good fun though and loads of interesting cars to look at.. Some decent people to talk to as well. Cheers Jon

  3. I wouldn't pay them a penny for the work they are doing to your car, clearly they messed up, you should take this case further

  5. I cant believe that Plastic Orange gets such poor mileage out of the Falkens that I run on. My last Falken tyres did just over 37K and if I had got less than that I would have been disappointed. I can only assume that your car needs to have its geometry set up on the laser ramp which I had done over a year ago and you wouldn't believe the difference in ride quality. There was recently another member that had the same problem with poor tyre mileage, I don't know what the outcome of that was but its in the archives. Less than 10K out of a good quality tyre is just not acceptable.

  6. I agree with you. However, there are some who are clearly willing to pay the extra for the kudos of driving a M3 or a C63. Plus I think that the price gap is getting closer between these cars. All these types of car will be difficult to sell and as they get older, reliability becomes a big factor. I tend to read that M3/C63 should not be bought without a warranty, which can cost up to a £1k a year. Hmm in saying that I have been quoted about a grand for a Lexus warranty! The C63 appeals to me with that glorious exhaust note, but factoring in the other costs, as a compromise the ISF is the one for me.
