I like the old favourites, Red Leicester Cheddar Stilton. I'm a traditional kind of guy. Tried goats cheese in the mountains of switzerland (Kandersteg to be precise). We were told we were going to an 'Alpine Cheesery' - Lovely we thought - men in white coats and stainless steel............. It was a wooden hut on the mountain. The cheesery was their living room ! Kids and goats running about - in and out of the house. The kids were educated up there too and had never left except to take cheese to the village Very primitive - I didn't think people still lived like that in the EU ! Anyway - I found goats cheese rather dry in comparison to 'traditional cheese'.

How about other chat rooms? I only ever use MSN and have to admit I've never been into a 'chat room'. Can you just type in an address and go? Hell, I'm 24 and feel like I'm behind the times This is the sort of thing that I would want to filter out if i had kids. So if any chat-room URL is entered they have to give a password etc etc.

To convert KM to miles, take the KM figure, divide it by 8 and times it by 5. So...... If you are looking at a car with 100,000KM on the clock.......... (100,000 / 8) x 5 = 62,500 Miles. I'm probably teaching people to suck eggs now

I drove a maes R32 when I had the cupra and wasn't impressed. I had 225bhp and the R32 has 240 (ish) The 4 motion 4wd system eats Hp like it's going out of fashion. The car felt sluggish compared to the cupra but that was probably because it didn't have the turbo effect :winky:

Couple of chaps on seatcupra.net where i used to frequent are running 363bhp through the VAG AYA engine. KO4s turbo and a remap is pretty frightening !

The Bora 1.8t is a 156 Bhp engine (same as i had in my cupra) Two completely different cars though. The VVTi kicks in on the Lexus at 4000rpm and you have to keep it 'revvy' to get swift accelleration. The turbo on the VAG 1.8t engines is fully spooled at 3500rpm. But will give the impression of faster accelleration and may well be to 60mph but there wont be a lot in it if you drive the Lexus a bit harder through the gears. The VAG engine will also top out before the IS200 lump, plus the IS has a 6 speed box. Much better car in my opinion. I used to have a Bora 1.6 16v - nice cars but the Lexus tops the bill every time.

Sounds good - not a bad price either. From what I am aware (and someone will correct me if i'm wrong) the difference between the S and SE is; Leather interior, Electric Seats, Premium stereo system, 16" wheels instead of the 17's. The Sport over the SE has; Aluminium pedals and side plates, LSD and sport suspension, Tinted rear quarters and the boot lip spoiler. Has the car got full Lexus service history etc etc? If serviced correctly they are good for at least 170k - got yourself a bargain by the sound of things. Well done and welcome :D PS - any pics?

That's crap mate - you'll have to fill me in on the exact details tomorrow night. I've been to yours a few times now and the area is so upmarket you just don't expect it. First the little gob ******* in your garage a couple of weeks ago and now this. If you gave them a good battering you'd be in trouble for it. I'm not going to start ranting because I wont stop. I may rig my car up to the lap-post down the road when I come over tomorrow - that'll teach the ****s a lesson. Nobody can have anything any more. I bet the Mrs is cut up about it too. But what was her reaction when she saw the red beast? Bet she was chuffed to bits :D (only to be kicked in the teeth by this :tsktsk: )

The Tezza's have a different engine to the UK IS's. Is it a Beams engine (or so I am led to beleive)
