  1. Yeah - as mike says - just don't want the rear of the car to look ghey :winky: Saw a tezza at the D1 yesterday and it didn't look quite right where it had been dropped, wheels just disappeared into the arches.
  2. My eibachs should be turning up soon and i can't wait to get them fitted - woo hoo, a bit of happy wee just escaped My only concern is the fact that I am keeping the standard wheels and the fact that due to the rear camber of the car they will disappear into the arched even more than they do now. I was thinking about putting a 10mm spacer on each of the rears to bring the stance out a bit. Has anyone else done this with stock rims?
  3. Congrats mate - we've been married just over a year now - scary stuff, can't imagine 10 years
  4. Mike - as subtle as a brick through grandma's greenhouse Welcome Nicky - watch out for the testosterone levels though :winky:

    Aido's New Car

I reckon he should put 19's on her and let me buy the Chicanes off of him
  6. I am on my 3rd set of these now The last set only lasted 6 months before going 'milky'. The chap at Grimsby told me to take a note of when the wheels were replaced and the wheels should then have a 3yr warranty. If new wheels corrode within 3 years then get them replaced again. Sounds about right to me anyway.
  7. Worth a look? Not a brand name but surely a strut brace is a strut brace? As long as the material is up to scratch then they should all do the same thing. Front Rear
  8. Yeah - LOL. Had them on all the way home. People keep moving out of the way Went out when it was dark last night and boy o boy are they bright. Just need to sort out the full beams. Cheers fella. PS - Aerial works fine too. :D Speak soon anyway.
  9. Seen these on eGay and was wondering if anyone could share their knowledge :) Linky Linky
  10. I'll have some of that action too (what's the cost?)
  11. I'm also looking for a full kit. Mike (Mr Morse) is selling an entire front bumper (TTE) if anyone's interested
  12. Are you getting rid of the TTE's then? If so would like to have a chat with you :D
  13. You'd better be getting them Adie, they look right naughty :D
  14. I had a rather spirited drive back from Chesvegas to Lincoln last night across the A617 and A57 - 11.30pm and the roads were dead - I kept to the speed limit obviously Nice wide open roads there with sweeping bends. It was about 14 degress last night and the air was quite dense - I thought the IS was performing a bit better. It's funny though - whenever I have been driving a car and giving it some welly, even my cupra and 1.6 VW Bora and have thought it is going well - the temp has always been around 12-14 degrees outside. Weird
  15. Well......... Went out in the new 'beast' last night and have to say I was truly scared for my life. Some overtaking manouvers were a bit risky I feel - the car just hasn't got the power the IS has but we had a damn good curry when we'd finished so it more than made up for it. Comfy inside though - surprisingly roomy for such a small car. Almost feels like you're in something bigger. Aido seemed well chuffed though - just look at his little face............... Bless
  16. I'm up for it - depending on location. In Lincoln most of the week but sure I could travel from St Ives to meet you orrible lot !! :P
  17. I reckon twin turbo's and TTE Chicane alloys would be a winner fella Rumour has it you can get the Aygo sideways with a little effort - front wheel drive drift sl@g !! :winky:
  18. Oxney Road off of Fengate - some rough buggers down there.
  19. Twas the chassis that stopped dead, the cabs are only on 4 sprung loaded mounting points usually. was just inertia that flung it off methinks.
  20. Would stop the gyppo's nicking your ride from the driveway
