  1. But pleeeeeeeeeeeeease only claim if you do have whiplash - great money making scam but it all puts up the insurance premiums. I hate these no win no fee things that get money for those people who don't really deserve it and then make a fast buck for some fat greasy ***** who runs the claim company. I would go and see a doctor to get it checked out (if you haven't already been to hospital that is).
  2. May sound silly but have you tried lexus? I don't know whether they do reprints at all or have some in Japan in a box in a cupboard? Worth asking?
  3. Sorry to hear about your mishap :( Creased rear quarter panels are never going to be good. What you must take into account with the repair bill is the cost of providing you with a cover vehicle etc etc, this soon eats into the % of the cars value for repair or write off. Difficult to tell without a clearer photo and as i'm not an insurance or repairs assessor my opinion is technically useless! Glad to hear you're ok though - keep an eye on your neck for a couple of days - whiplash can be a funny thing.
  4. Looks like you had a really good turn out - good to see. Great location too :)
  5. Last night was messy - I still feel rubbish. Top Banana though :D We made him drink plenty - no arse action thankfully but we did have a bit of an episonde of I've never seen a man fill a sink so quick :yack: Hope the flight to the Dam was ok for you boys :)
  6. Revo do some great software. That's what I have on my S3. I will definitely get an RS4 when I can afford one, which frankly, isn't likely to be any time soon ← So you'll have 275 horses at the fly then Mr Nick :D Was great on the Ibiza 156 to 225bhp in the twist of the knobs on the dongle Proper street sleeper until I turned it into a ditch sleeper Have you got the SPS unit to change the timing and boost settings? Can't see why everyone is knocking German engineering though - pretty good I always thought.
  7. Any car is cack in the snow without the right equipment or driver. The IS is no exception to this the same as even the best vehicles get caught out sometimes. I have a Landrover 110 Defender (Long wheel-base) and even that is a pig in the wrong conditions, i have had all four wheels spinning and it isn't a quick beast. Whatever vehicle you are driving in the snow you need to drive it carefully, in as higher gear as possible and don't make and sudden turns or bury the throttle - if you can't drive sensibly in the snow then stay at home The Lexus isn't known for it's grace in cold conditions but the snow button is there for a reason - as discussed in the other thread it calms the throttle response to reduce wheel spin. Don't expect miracles from it though. FFS listen to Rob as he know's what he's talking about - he lives in bloody switzerland and if those conditions can be driven in then we can get on with it over here. :)
  8. PMSL ! :D Barrie was just narked that they got away with his pipe and slippers :P If you'd have had this beauty I bet you'd have caught them and told them to respect their elders. During the war.... Sorry barrie
  9. So you will have forward motion but you wont be able to steer All or nothing my friend - much safer :)
  10. People tend to ignore alarms now - especially in London. When I was working on refurbishments on housing estates it was common to hear one going for the entire day and just ignoring it. The sound goes away after a while The village where I live now though is a lot better, much more community spirit - and everyone knows everyone else too which helps. but what do you do exactly Barrie?
  11. Get the REVO software on that little beaut and she'll be gorwling with near 550bhp - that's a lot of welly The Audi RS6 still gets my vote - a whole lot of car that can eat most things on the road yet it's a bit of a street sleeper. Do we see a purchase in the near future Mr Ladak ? :winky: :zee:
  12. Those IS wheels work surprisingly well on there don't they :)
  13. When you go abroad you are leaving me the keys to your garage for safe keeping aren't you ? :winky:
  14. Looking good Mr M. You'll be taking over the whole street soon !! Lower it a shade and get some new wheels on her and she'll be a whole lot of fun. Oh how tunable they are :duh:
  15. Does squirrel turd have nuts in Ahmed ? :D :P
  16. Better get BB down there sharpish Mike - before Dave flogs them :winky:
  17. For those privileged few - here is a little link...... Linky
  18. Went to a lad in Ireland for a bargain didn't it?
  19. I was still up for it and I think Zee and Mike were going to pop across to mine then travel down the A1 with me. Another time now though by the sounds of it :)
  20. Good to see people again - and good to see the usual turkey stuffing suspects :winky: How does a Bernard Matthews ready baste tickle your fancy Aido? (Remember to leave the giblets in though :P ) Some muppet tried to pull into me on a roundabout on the A52 - did you see him Matt? - the foreign wolly in the people carrier :tsktsk: Was as you pulled into the shell garage.
  21. I noticed the landrover in the back of the garage Niraj - take that you'll be more than safe in that trust me. I was in our landrover when it was hit in the side at 60 - bent the rear corner and that was it - wrote off the sierra that hit it. They are bullet proof. Hope your luck takes a turn for the better in the coming weeks. Things can only get better though can't they, I know it's a cliche but every cloud and all that. Chin up :)
  22. I'm up for a ruby, nando's or a chinky but then scruffies is just over the road so would save us getting in Taxi's (Mike hasn't got a clue about buses - Prisca will tell you :winky: ) Book a table at scruffies Mike - makes things easier and they do something that will cater for everyone's tastes. Mike - couldn't get Prisca any bush chicken this week as there wasn't enough to go round - I am out in a couple of weeks again though. :)
  23. It looks so small and insignificant under the bonnet, yet I know when you press the loud pedal the four horsemen of the apocolypse are going to come galloping around the corner :D Can't wait for it to be fitted - you do remember telling me and Aido we could borrow your car for a weekend to 'proof test' the new merchandise for you :winky: :P
  24. I like cold mornings - nice and crisp - can't beat it, waling through the wood with a shotgun under your arm. Prefer winter to summer. I'd rather put more clothes on than not be able to take any more off and sweat my tatties off !
