Is there such a thing as a cheap(ish), good quality DVD-Recorder and anyone know where I'll get one that can be connected to the TV? I know nothing about these things and am not even sure how much to expect to pay. Any tips?

I just bought a Navman 5210 in Tesco's of all places. £250 and comes with maps of one European country (in addition to the UK of course). Nothing too fancy, but I got mine for work too and it's been good so far!

Unfortunately my GS was no longer a practical motor for my family needs, so had to go. The new owner picked her up today and I felt really gutted waving the car off....but, if I had to sell it (which I did), I couldn't wish for a nicer person to have her....Maneesh. What a really nice, sound fellow. Maneesh, I hope you're as happy with the car as I was, and happy motoring. I'm glad it's staying within the Club :) As for my new car....I did a deal with Honda this afternoon and am picking up a Honda Stream. LOL @ Lex-aholic!!! I was *trying* to cook herb-crusted cod with cherry tomato sauce. I did it making breadcrumbs. Next time it's gonna be ready meals from Marks and Spencers!!!!

My husband has been an angel recently, helped me out with loads of stuff etc. so I thought I'd cook a nice meal for us last night as I rarely cook.... Easy to see why I don't cook often. In the first couple of seconds whizzing up the blender to make breadcrumbs, I managed to blend my finger. Our 'romantic' evening turned to a 2 hour wait in casualty, followed by take-away pizza :duh: Still, means Si will still be doing the cooking at home!

Nah, think the harder ride of the GS300 Sport may be more Maneesh's thing :D

Check that you can get insurance for it though first mate. I had several insurance companies who wouldn't cover me as I was under 30. That was for a sport model though, not sure if that made the difference. Check the ball joints and calipers are ok, but it sounds like a good'un from what you said. How much is it for sale for?
