  1. Thanks for the tips. I'm wondering if he'll be ok with a booster seat (he's 3 now), but will go into the shops to ask advice. Our plans for using his car seat for our daughter when she's old enough have been shelved!!!
  2. Well, heaven forbid either of my kids turn out bad, but y'know what...if they did it would be mine and my husband's responsibility, not the schools, not the governments etc. That's why I have a sneaky suspicion we'll be ok....
  3. We'll be buying a new car seat....very quickly!!!!
  4. Yeah, think so, just click the text you want (highlight the text in the formula bar rather than the cell though - plays havoc with your formatting otherwise) and past it into a new worksheet or where ever. If you want to highlight the whole spreadsheet, click the grey box above line 1 and next to column A, it'll highlight the whole thing for you. Hope this is what you're after?
  5. I don't have the full review, but there's good info here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/news/newsbeat/..._carseats.shtml Our son's car seat is one of the worst!
  6. What is the world coming to when mere children are arrested for the attempted murder of a 5 year old http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/bradford/4601961.stm
  7. This had my husband and I giggling like school kids: www.sithsense.com DarthVader reads your mind.....! Completely Worksafe
  8. Hurrah - got it started! Phew. Will see how it goes, but may invest in a new battery anyway!!!
  9. Thanks, have checked the fluid and it seems fine. Going to keep it on charge for a bit longer, then try it and if I have any problems will ditch it.
  10. Not sure, but I've got the battery on charge again and praying that it starts soon. Do you think I need a new battery? Seems strange it was dead after just half an hour of listening to the radio.
  11. Have finally sorted out a PayPal account Steve (didn't realise you could do it on debit rather than credit card), so please include me on the PM with the payment details. Thanks.
  12. Spent a couple of hours yesterday washing and polishing the car. Had the radio on for no longer than 30 mins, then went to move the car back and the battery had died. We put it on charge for a fair few hours and then went to start the car again, although it turned over, the engine didn't spark into life. Thought the immobiliser had got into a tizzy, so decided to leave the car over night. Gone out this morning and absolutely no luck - after a couple of trys, the battery died again. Was tearing my hair out (today is not the day to be without a car). Went to check all the fuses and noticed a yellow sticker saying that if the battery dies, leave the key in the ignition in the 'on' position for 6 minutes. Why couldn't that be mentioned in the bloomin' manual!!!!!!! Am cross, stressed and cross - in that order :shutit: Is this common knowledge, or have I been :iraqi-info-minister: ???
  13. How come your not making the trader fix it all? Seems like a lot of hassle to go through when it should be their responsibility? Once fixed though, you'll not look back....they're beautiful cars, the GS
  14. I'll have a white XL and a red large one please Steve. Can I pay by cheque though please?
  15. No sympathy, I have a (nearly) 4 month old baby :P
  16. Had a similar problem - couldn't start my car. There again, I had locked the keys in the boot and couldn't get into the damned thing! :iraqi-info-minister:
  17. Think we were a bit slow off the uptake too. I think there's a lot of competition for 3 bed places in our area <sigh> Anyway, it's on the website now and we're waiting for the local papers to come out, so hopefully that'll spark some interest!
  18. There's a dark blue one driving around the Bracknell area, they look to be nice cars!
  19. Blimey! We've found the ideal house, but can't put an offer in until we've sold ours - well, have been advised against it anyway. Not sure how anyone gets to buy though if everyone's waiting to sell their place!!!
  20. Well, after plenty of deliberating, we've finally put our house on the market. It was a tough decision as we love it here....but, we're likely to only move a few streets away :D Had one lot of viewers this weekend and are hoping the estate agents can pull the stops out to get more through the door! On the plus side, it's the tidiest our house has been since we moved in ...Anyone else going through this at the moment, or are we the only suckers for punishment?!
  21. I'm not doing club meets anymore, but did get a call from Santapod today asking if we were interested in a pitch.... is there enough interest?
