  1. My eldest Son is absolutely terrified after a seminar at school and all the TV news coverage. All weekend I have had "are we gong to be bombed Daddy", are we gong to be poisoned Daddy?", who is going to look after me if you and Mummy get murdered by terrorists?" Kids should not have this pressure. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr What happenned to the good old days?
  2. Sorry to hear about that Si I can give you 2 tips that are the sum total of my knowledge and wisdom. 1) Don't eat yellow snow. 2) Do not ever have any medical procedures done in this country. Mark ;)
  3. Well a least an Etch a Sketch is red :D

  5. This waas sent to me by special spam delivery, but is nice nonetheless. A philosophy professor stood before his class and had some items in front of him. When class began, wordlessly he picked up a large empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with rocks right to the top, rocks about 2" in diameter. He then asked the students if the jar was full? They agreed that it was. So the professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them in to the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles, of course, rolled into the open areas between the rocks. The students laughed. He asked his students again if the jar was full? They agreed that yes, it was. The professor then picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up every-thing else. "Now," said the professor, "I want you to recognize that this is your life. The rocks are the important things - your family, your partner, your health, and your children - anything that is so important to you that if it were lost, you would be nearly destroyed. The pebbles are the other things in life that matter, but on a smaller scale. The pebbles represent things like your job, house, or car. The sand is everything else, the small stuff." "If you put the sand or the pebbles into the jar first, there is no room for the rocks. The same goes for your life. If you spend all your energy and time on the small stuff, material things, you will never have room for the things that are truly most important." Pay attention to the things that are critical in your life. Play with your children. Take time to get medical checkups. Take your partner out dancing. There will always be time to go to work, clean the house, give a dinner party and fix the disposal. Take care of the rocks first - the things that really matter. Set your priorities, the rest is just pebbles and sand. May there always be work for your hands to do; May your purse always hold a coin or two; May the sun always shine on your windowpane; May a rainbow be certain to follow each rain; May the hand of a friend always be near; May *** fill your heart with gladness to cheer you. (An Irish Blessing)
  6. Hi Zee No you're not too late. See you tomorrow :)
  7. We need someone to try our new NA carbon fibre induction kit on for fitment and effectiveness. We would prefer a car that is already modified but will consider a standard car. Needless to say a super dooper deal will be forthcoming Let me know please Mark :)
  8. It's probably in Sparkbrook in Birmingham with all the other stolen Skylines and Scoobies and dodgy credit cards. Just ask for Abdul Hussein. BTW 15 cars were stolen at the Autsoprt Show at the weekend. Hmmm...wonder where they could be ;)
  9. In the light of the threat of a terrist attack which WILL happen here, and the poor Copper that was murdered yesterday arresting suspected terrorists, should our police be armed?

  21. My 2p is that you are better off in property but not in the UK which is all over now. Try Spain or even Cyprus whose land and property prices are ramping up now in expectation of full EC membership in 18 months time -better make a move quickly! You should see at least 15% growth per year (cyprus about 50% until the end of 2004), plus you can have rental income when you are not there, a nice holiday when you feel like it and a haven when you want to leave this stinking, corrupt, battered country. I'll send you my IFA bill :D
  22. What minibar? Don't forget that Iraq is an Islamic country - maybe that's why no one is queueing up to buy my timeshare.
  23. So shall I try and sell my Timeshare in Baghdad then ?
  24. Thanks Mat Normal service has resumed :D
