  1. You can get Ambersil Electrospray (other brands are available) its a spray can solvent cleaner. 2 birds one can (stone) :winky:
  2. It was a BMW on BMW approved tyres. When the insurance were informed they re-instated the insurance.
  3. Yup the guy had a BMW and had put on BMW specified snow tyres anyway. Suddenly after a call they gave him his insurance back!
  4. That's a tough call. I feel close to the same decision myself but the new MOT and 6 month's tax have fed the habit for a while. Also my employer has given me 40p a mile help to get to work (100 miles a day!) I'll look out for you! Did the new owner consider joining us do you think?
  5. Someone on here had a wire in usb converter that will save you the sacrilege of removing such a brilliant sound system. They showed how to fit it too!
  6. Just found the receipt: £67.93 before tax Each fitted. 04/11/08
  7. I took ages to find the right ones as the catalogues were not listing but found them eventually. Went to get them fitted only to find that the MOT advisory was bogus! Still in the trunk! If I remember I'll get them out and tell you the ref. Can't find a ref but the tel no. is 0161 718 6721 for Super Pro bushes - PRI Racing Ltd. sales@priracing.com
  8. Well I was really impressed by the stick and the price and the feel was just so good and quiet. It does look like you trade stick against more rapid wear though.
  9. It's a lot more than I would have expected. Maybe the reputation has driven up the price. There is a site called black something that deliver to local centres who will fit for you. There was a mobile fitter here who was selling fitting and balancing on your doorstep cheaper than the stores maybe there is one near you?
  10. I'm not suggesting the MOT was duff its just that maybe two old advisories were! PM me if you like I'll tell you where. You might be surprised where it was actually!
  11. The Falkens stick, even last winter! It looks like they do wear a bit faster, though, as mine are due a change, but they feel so sure after the Pirellis and Contis I used to use.
  12. Dave Edin - Sorry it was SP30s I meant - speeding violations 3 points a crack! I would not bother with Dunlops after I found Falkens (SP25s ring a bell somewhere, are they motor bike tyres?)
  13. Its OK here on Virgin cable too at 20:47 I have trouble sometimes so I restart safari and it goes much faster. Sometimes you hit a duff server I guess.
  14. Well to say I was surprised is an understatement! Previous Advisories include rear lower front bushes Ball joints So having done nothing about it over the last year, I was expecting them to have failure written all over. This time a pass! Advisories this time: Leakage from power steering components (rams). Windscreen chips 40mm outside of zone 'A' o/s outer mirror faded. (Been the same for at least 5 years, no mention before.) Bumper damage (since 5 years too) Knocking from n/s/f on roller test ( I have tried to find this and have no idea where it is coming from!) Worn rear tyres. So I'm a happy bunny! I can get most of that sorted pretty painlessly. I think I'll have a drink tonight!
  15. My cure was 2 rounds of SP25s followed by a a dose of religious cruise control use.
  16. I tried what you suggested folks and most of it worked fine. The only problem is that if iTunes pasted its own idea of what the album art i,s sometimes adding the real one shows in the pane on the page but it remains as the old one in the Album flow! Deleting and trashing the artwork in the info box makes no difference! WTF?
  17. Hi, This Movember, the month formerly known as November I’ve decided to donate my face to raising awareness about prostate cancer. My donation and commitment is the growth of a moustache for the entire month of Movember, which I know will generate conversation, controversy and laughter. Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men. One man dies every hour from the disease in the UK. This is a cause that I feel passionately about and I’m asking you to support my efforts by making a donation to The Prostate Cancer Charity. To help, you can either: • Click this link http://uk.movember.com/donate/your-details/member_id/1294348/ and donate online using your credit card or PayPal account . Or, • Send cheques and CAF vouchers (made payable to ‘The Prostate Cancer Charity Re Movember’) directly to The Prostate Cancer Charity – First Floor, Cambridge House, Cambridge Grove, London W6 0LE. Be sure to include the person’s name on the back of the cheque. The Prostate Cancer Charity will use the money raised by Movember for the development of programs related to awareness, public education, advocacy, support of those affected, and research into the prevention, detection, treatment and cure of prostate cancer. For more details on how the funds raised from previous campaigns have been used and the impact Movember is having please visit http://uk.movemberfoundation.com/research-and-programs. Thank you in advance for helping me to support men’s health. Nitmoi http://img3015.photobox.co.uk/608442239c947e6810f199d771934321069d6b966d70c9b0b095261f439ce38ef2aab43d.jpg
