  1. Mines a 96/97 but the indicators do not flash and never have. What is wrong now! Oops never tested the alarm again.
  2. The box in mine is under the passengers seat and it is a first aid I think, I never checked whether there was room for my week end special piece under the driver's seat I'll go and check now. Back Soon. No nothing under the driver's seat but a grey box under the passenger's. Inside the box is a leather bound Lexus 1st aid kit!
  3. I think mine has gone too, I'll check the way you did when I think of it. Brilliant.
  4. I tried this is Cambridge then screwed up and ended up decorating instead and let the other guy down. Mea Culpa.
  5. CB1300 I do hope you are not serious. There has got to be room for a light hearted response in the tray also.
  6. I have a spade, sleeping bag and all sorts in the trunk but forgot the hod! I have had bricks and flat packs along with a butler sink in there from time to time though. I am surprised that some people complain about the lack of space in there! Maybe I'm old fashioned. I'll have to be more careful with my spelling though.
  7. I too have noticed a clunk apparently on the off side. It had just passed its mot with not even an advisory so I was about to get under today for a squint. Maybe its the hod as you suggest. God willing!
  8. It is great when it goes on well but if it rains while you are applying it it leaves a reflective skin which makes for screen flare. It does need redoing a couple of times a year. When it is going well I don't bother with the wipers as the rain just streams off.
  9. Sounds like a plan! Thanks. It beeps when I open the doors but no bells and whistles!
  10. I just noticed that the panic button has apparently stopped working although I recall the alarm working recently.Any ideas on this while we are at it? Apologies for Hi Jack
  11. I was caught overtaking an LS 460 (or 430, not sure). The police man said they slowed down but I didn't. So I got pinched not them!
  12. What I hate most about my beautiful car is that it gets me into trouble! 3 points today for a slip up in speed on the local empty dual carriage way. I drove for about 6 miles with the cruiser on my tail steady at seventy but he had clocked me earlier at 94.8 and I genuinely was not trying to zoom. Just wafting, as you do! A fair cop and a very pleasant one at that. Thank God I have no points to my name! I am going to have to give the old girl a good talking to tomorrow.
  13. Left mine at an airport for a week and no problem. Swapped dead battery, much later, in the front of the battery shop without having to re-programme anything. Just set it up and did it quick. I was not aware that there might have been a problem though! Idiot's luck no doubt.
  14. That sounds like a good scheme if it is legal. Lexus sent me a membership type card advising me to call them first if there was ever an accident. Perhaps this is part of their service.
  15. No. MkIV onward as far as I know unless its part of a handling pack(?)
  16. Those socks sound good! They ought to make carrying autosocks obligatory from November to March
  17. What is the plural of Lexus? I suspect it is a made up word so may not conform to opus opii rules. I have seen that there are not many LS in Europe but are the smaller models more common over the channel?
  18. Scatter dishwasher salt under the wheels and they will not slip away. I t wo't wash the car though I bought a set of wheels for the VW camper and they had snow tyres on all for £80! No studs though. They ought to make carrying snow chains obligatory from November to March. That would sort it all (well most of it)
