There's also some stuff on the market called "Silent Roar", which is (I promise this is true) lion crap made into pelletts - apparently your average dumb moggie thinks there's a lion nearby when it catches the smell.
I found a great gadget to make the cats go away (stops them crapping my garden, but should work on cars too!).
It's a small ultrasonic siren linked to a passive MWD - scares them off. You can buy it at garden centres.
I read somewhere that the GS300 cluster is not lit by bulbs or LEDs. The guages themselves are made of a material that glows when a current is passed through it.
LOL - years ago I used have an Escort - and if you turned on everything electrical the alternator would whine just like a turbo - I stuck a quid's worth of "Turbo" badge on the back and everyone believed me!
I have Platinum series Superwhites on my GS300 - they are shedloads brighter than the originals, and last pretty well (and so they should at nearly 70 quid a pair)
I'm looking at the boxe my Superwhites came in now - there's no "E" anywhere - just a statement of FMVSS (Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards) compliance.
Excellent bulbs though - I highly recommend them.
Les - check this out.
150bucks a set sounds like a lot though!
