    Had my IS about 4 years now starting to get Condensation in one of the headlights, is there anything I can do as a fix?

    I am from Dorchester myself and have heard good things about these jap specialists. I havent used them myself, as I have done the past 8 services myself as there pretty straight forward, with almost 140k on the clock now FSH isnt going to add much value to my IS.

    I use snow mode in traffic, makes the pull away smoother if your stopping and starting alot. Manual Box.

    Yeah it was just when I thinking about maybe changing.. But its so hard to know what will live upto it. 135k miles and not missed a beat. Looked at the bmw forums and most owners seem annoyed at the trouble there getting from cars over 80k.

    Just wondered if anyone had seen the Auto Express Drivers Power Pole 2008, Lexus IS200 Still No.1 for build quality. IS250 Came in at No.7 I think.

    I tried braking and the knocking still happens, so I guess its not the pads. Is there an way you can check the dropink under the bonnet mate? just to do a quick check without using any tools.

    I have the long reach oil filter grips. They work well, changed my oil about 7 times now over the years and 4 litres is spot on for the amount.

    Hi All, Just a quick question to see if anyone can help me pinpoint this, at low speeds when going over slightly uneven parts of a road or worse there is knock for each little bump the car goes over. The car has 134k on the clock and the ball joints were done at 120k, so Im guessing it cant be these. Is there anything else that wears at the front that could cause the knocking... Thanks

    It's going to be Tiff. I met Tiff when I was at the qualifying for the British GP at Silverstone in 2006, I was given a FREE ticket and I had VIP access it was wicked. Anyway, I sat with Tiff for a while and asked Tony Jardin if he ever saw Lexus doing hardcore Performance, he said NO it won't happen. Put it this way, from my inside informations this is going to be the worst review of the lot, I hear it will only get better as we see other tests on Top Gear etc! I would double check your sources mate :winky: Was a good review, but I can see the point on the beeping gearbox

    1999 with 134,000 miles Never had a single problem with it.

    The last straw when I had my alfa 155 (before the lexus) was the drivers wiper arm coming off at 70-80 on the motorway in the pouring rain, not the blade, the whole wiper arm. I was shocked to say the least! luckily no cars where behind me, just remember looking in my mirror for a second and seeing this wiper arm spinning through the air.

    I love how the were mocking the IS200 Dash, when the alfa dashes dont work half the time. On my old alfa, the fuel guage didnt work and the rev counter would die often. And have see this is other alfa's aswell. Plus any alfa I have driven, the gear box is like stirring porridge.

    I use Magnatec 10/40 It takes 4.1 litres, but 4.0 is spot on, as you will have a very small amount left in after draining the oil.

    Looks exactly what I am after aswell, not owning an ipod. Plus sd is just drag and drop for files and 4/8GB cards are cheap enough. My stero is 13902 aswell, did they mention when the correct model would be back in stock?
