  1. Think most have got a set of reverse parking sensors on there's now which are quite cheep to buy nowadays so could help your problem as i know what you mean about the rear wash wipe and not being able to judge the space behind the car i use my rear spoiler to help but always end up 2 feet away? :D
  2. Sorry, one last question!! If it's the disc motor that's causing the noise, is there a wire that I could just unclip to stop it functioning? Thank you for your quick response TC The disc on mine is in the boot so not sure if yours is the same if you look under the mat in the boot its on the right hand side if you open the front cover the disc pops out if i remember as was a bit back when i changed my disc and you should be able to hear if its the disc motor that you can hear i think you can just unplug it at the back of the box??? at a guess it could be the screen motor that you can hear in the car just a thought mate hope it helps?
  3. Might pop up to give you a hand mate as i'm off all week and bored silly already? :D

  5. i never thought of the age of the belt mate to be honest but you got me thinking now and might get mine done as mines a sport on a 2000 v plate with 75k on the clock , just a thought if you get it done get the cam belt tensioner done aswell as they wear and some on here recomend it as a safe thing to do when having the belt changed. :)
  6. Hello and welcome to the LOC mate :) Not sure about the price of the service on your car but the cambelt shouldn't need doing on an is200 till 100,000 miles so should have plenty of life in it yet. :) but nothing stopping getting it done for piece of mind if you use the search function on the main page you should be able to find out a bit of what other members have done for the services and cambelt and maybe a few prices... :) Chris..... :)

  10. So the 9005 is for the main beam.. the ones you flash people with? also what type of bullb is the fog lights, the ones in the bumper? Cheers 9005 high beam, 9006 low/dipped beam ,and it depends on the year of your car for the fog lights as the older cars like my 2000 model use 9006 in the fogs and the newer cars use H1 bulbs but not sure what year they changed them..... :)
  11. Rod mate i think your taking this modding lark a bit far mate??? :D :D :D
  12. that would explain it mate i forgot they changed them on the newer cars :duh:
  13. I was quite suprised at how much the tamora are to buy ,very affordable and very quick for a 3.6 but couldn't get my daughter and partner in at the same time? I wonder if they do a roof rack for a child seat... :D
  14. i test drove a tamora last year and loved it still would'nt mind 1 now as it feels quite small compared to an is200
  15. Think you might need the 9006 set for your fogs mate if i remember rightly and not the H1's???
  16. Thought when i got both sets of pads for £48 that was a good deal and i got them a day later so a good service 2? :)
  17. Hopefully do it this w/end mate as i'm taking my TTE front bumper off again and putting the original one back on as i like the lip spoiler and got to fit my induction kit and ik20 plugs :) so a busy w/end for me
