And as for women becoming the stronger s*x I wear the trousers in my house, well at least when she lets me he he It was early and i couldnt spell trousers at the time :) Americanisms are finding a way in to our everyday lives...sneaky lil sods..........

  5. Hi jenny, Welcom to LOC Great car, I hope you enjoy it. Theres a lot of info in the forums both from members and in posts (There have been a few over the years :) ) Hows Atlanta?........and how are fuel prices going over there Rob
  6. What key did you loose? 2 button or 3 button? (did it have a boot release button) Have you a spare?...and if so is it 2 or 3 button. If you dont have a spare and you want a new key from scratch, it might cost!...you may have to replace more than the key alone. Cheers Rob
  7. Yes it can and HAS been done by a few of us....very easy to do. Mine was a little more awkward due to my sat nav remote cabling, but still a pretty easy fit. Hardest thing was getting the bits.
  8. Can you make that a petition mate...I WILL SIGN UP FOR THAT!
  9. Part Numbers! You have the arm rest The cage it sits on The Plug for the Magnet catch There is a pic of the whole assembly around somewhere in the forums......
  10. I have one and must admit its SOOOO much better than before! I guess if i ever sell my LEX it will end up on here :) I found a small flat screwdriver made this bit (BELOW) a lot easier. "These nasty little tabs (one either side) were the hardest bit for me. The easiest way I found to release them was to reach inside the console and pull them in towards the centre of the console and pull the console back at the same time. It did take quite a bit of effort though." Also not quite so easy if you have sat nav :)
  11. Looks good m8.....I have a polisher here if you want to spend time on it :)
  12. no, not really. The problem is, the IS200 was faultless, it really was, so set a benchmark... Plus, the 911 is older with higher miles, and all it needed was a new lock part when i first got it - and now the battery lost some charge (only down to 10v, but that Flat 6 needs a lot of current to crank it!). It may need a new battery, i'll have to keep an eye on it... I can't complain really, its just funny how the Lexus gave me such a perspective, where having to buy a battery charger felt like the end of the world! and Rob, i'm sure you thrashing it down country lanes had nothing to do with it :winky: "Thrashing" More of a . . . . . . . . . gentle push Till i get used to it. :winky:
  13. Welcome to LOC Have fun with the car. :)
  14. It wasn't me! If its any consolation Ian .....I had to replace my battery last Nov.
  15. Unfortunately multikwik dont do a flexi with a boss connection for the sink waste. :( I will try with a little petroleum paste to see if i get a better seal.
  16. lot of companies wont even quote with a charger. Adrian Flux quoted me around an extra 150 above my standard ins, but they wanted to increase the excess from around 160 to 350.....So double check all quotes.
  17. OK all i have actually got around to start fitting a set of bathroom furniture/suite. I fitted the WC pan to waste using a Mcalpine WC -CON 26PV conector but found that the cuff still appears to seep......I have been told it should be a case of simply push on and leave, but can a sealant be used with the cuff?? likewise for the cistern to Tiolet pushfit connection. :tsktsk: The sink also leaked, and after rechecking the sink itself found that a slight imperfection in the sink itself meant i had to use a bit of sealant to ensure a watertight fit between the sink and waste. Really miffed! Any advice appreciated. Rob
  18. Im thinking when (in 5 yrs time say)they go to sell a car within the 2nd hand market.....would a punter be put off by having to shell out 300-400 in tax per year...??
  19. The IS250 Manual I think is now a band G - So, looks like they will have to pay the full wack. The IS250 Auto are below the limit so they fair better. This, i think, will have a knock on effect for the 2nd Hand markets!
  20. I'm still waiting to have a Wii......... Yep a strong bladder :)
  21. Income tax was only brought in to pay for the war against France.......not for the long term...LMFAO
