  4. I've been looking to replace the brake discs on my IS200 which are getting a bit tatty. One option was DBA discs which I know were done as a group buy here some time ago. Lucky timing then. Digging around UK distributors website found offers on the 4000 series discs. Clark motorsport IS200 offers So ordered myself some fronts @ £144.00 and rears @ £120.00 delivery included. Similar prices to standard now but still got a bit of my instinct left for buying different parts :) They arrived today so here's pics of what they are :- Front disc (Right side) Rear disc (Right side) Apparently offer is clearing space for new stock and once they're gone they're gone. Catching your attention ? There's about a dozen front pairs and half dozen rear pairs left. TG PS. I'm not trying to sell for the company but did tell them I'd be posting details here about what I got

  6. Here's a quote from my IS200 owners manual :- "The outside rear view mirror heater will operate while the ignition switch is ON". Mine is a 2001 car and doesn't have the mirror symbol on the heated rear window switch. That must have been one of the changes made sometime beyond late 2001. TG
  7. Yes rear discs and pads and inside of disc hub forms a drum which has handbrake shoes in it. TG

  14. Towards the top right of the screen next to the stopwatch symbol. The fairly square C shape wrapped around an arrow pointing right is the logout button. TG
  15. I think the scraping noise could be the backing plates needing a shove back out of the way ? TG
  16. Was it really called " jap laq " or is that a typo that should be " jap lac " TG
  17. If you know there's a new sensor required somewhere is it fair to assume the idle is wrong ? Might be an idea to wait until the sensor is sorted before looking for more problems. I doubt a throttle body clean up will hurt though. TG
  18. Just popped out and double checked mine from cold. Started at about 1500 rpm After a few seconds dropped to about 1250 rpm. Then after a few more seconds dropped to about 1000 rpm. TG
  19. Easy to fit if you have some spanners or similar. Undo terminals and central bar holding battery in place. lift out battery in its all over cover (if still present). Lift off cover and transfer to new battery. Lightly grease terminals. Replace battery and do up terminals. Maybe dealer would just fit it for you ? TG
  20. Have you checked with your Lexus dealer for your battery ? They were about the best deal when I was looking. Around 65 quid and obviously terminals etc all in the right places TG
