java - i also had the APC led bulbs but mine a perfect red and bright as well - i bent mine using a hot air gun - you have to wait till the plastic is just about to bubble/forms bubbles in the plastic then you can bend them really easily.

you can get the bulb 'condoms' that are for the wedge bulbs in the fogs - i saw reference to them on is300.net - best to do a search there or ask a Q about them - i did but never got a response:( ill try again! any info i get ill post here. rob

hi blue, I got some LED bulbs from the US to get round the 'pink' light, but as i found out you need to seriously modify them to get any decent light output ask andyhart21 - because of the way an led works u get most light output when you are facing it straight on i.e. at 0 degrees but due to the fog bulb holder you are viewing it at about 60 degrees so the light is a bit poo poo to say the least - to cut a long story short dont bother with them. Andy can u post a pic of what i had to do to the led bulbs? cheers rob

remember if you paint ur bulbs to get rid of that pink light, but find that afterwards they are a bit dim - you can fit upto 36W bulbs on the rear of the vehicle:cool: so just get some of those and paint them as much as you like!!!

I went into the local MOT station today and asked about the lenses, they checked in the testing regulations book and the general consensus(sp?) is that as long as there is no visible white light and the light is red and that it is as bright/brighter than your normal original fogs then there is no reason that the car can fail the MOT due to the fog lights - unless you leave the fog/brake mod kit on that is:!: rob

they do put a very thin white static type plastic on the hood and roof when in transit etc , a good scrub should have got rid of it - but we have had a car that had a static sticker on the hood that had actually left its mark in the laquer! - needed a respray.

for the dent try a company called dent doctor - or just do a UK based search for "paintless dent removal" - i have seen these guys work miracles!! was really surprised.

hi all - i have had a few U2U's about the xpel kit i have fitted........ so if u read the above i think that covers most things, i have had the xpel on for about 2 years now and am perfectly happy with it. i have added a pic as well so people can get a better idea of how far up the bonnet it goes. you will notice the edge a bit more than normal as i washed the car quickly yesterday and didnt clean the edge of the xpel very well so there is a slight build up of polish there.

I wouldnt have thought so but you can always try - its surface corrosion because the surface is unprotected.

thats why i always keep something to open the boot with on the car:D - or why dont people just have a key hidden somewhere??

the new sport models have a drop of 15mm so i dont think that there will a great difference in normal everyday driving, with regards to the S and SE wheels there is a difference in ride quality - SE is stiffer as for road noise it all depends on the road surface - but I do know that the bridgestones are quieter than the dunlops. - if the dealer is serious and interested in you as a potential customer then there shouldnt be a prob with having a test drive on all 3. With regards to the colour, the darker colours are harder to look after as they show all the marks etc but when it is clean its as if ur looking in a mirror, on the silver you can have a lot of dust/dirt and it doesnt look to bad also when you get the paint chips they are not that obvious, whichever colour you get i would suggest having a look into a product called X-pel - its a clear plastic film that goes on the front edge of the bonnet - since i fitted mine i have only had 1 chip in 2 years, would easily recomend it to anyone without hesitation.

favs: 1 shot of apple sour followed by a shot of southern comfort. Or a "carrot cake" = 1shot baileys, 1shot butterscotch schnapps, 1shot kaluha(sp?) and a load of crushed ice mmmmm nice! and a TVR sometimes oh yeah and beer!! although after that lot u might feel a bit :regan:

mmmmm! then whats all this about euro/jap spec bumpers not fitting the 300 as they need to be extended a couple of inches( length) not depth wise?

was it in the one right next to the beach- near the wetsuit hire place? i do remember seeing a blue IS somewhere around that area.
