  7. no you have not read it wrong - it isnt legal, The decision to do this or not has to always rest with the final recipient and any consequences will be thiers alone. I have had quite a few plod cars behind me recently but none have done anything or given me a second look. - that is not to say that in your area they wont!!!! you can turn the fog light into a tail/foglight you just need to use the fitting for the tail light ie dual filament - but that will still be illegal.
  8. no my book doesnt have that in - but for you andy i suggest you take up yoga! that will solve the problem.

  12. ok all, i have started to send out kits to those that have re-sent thier info to me. Unfortunatly it has proved a little more difficult to do a dual filament conversion at this time but i am in the process of getting one ready - keep u posted. for those of u going to JAE - i will do a fitting service for you (for free) if you wish, or let me know if u want it sent out instead. andy/zee - ill do urs at jae if you still wish. rob
  13. I had a road rage incident today! but I wasnt on the recieving end. some complete *"^$&$%$& !^&£ £!&"&£ pulled right out in front of me on a large roundabout with a caravan when i was about 8M away from him had to brake sharply and swerve to avoid going thru the side of his ever so lovely caravan! After making my presence known he pulled into the next layby, as did I, and he got out ranting and raving - so we( i was giving a few mates a lift) got out, and after being confronted by 5 rather annoyed blokes thought better of it and jumped back in his car -:flaming: Bl**dy tourist!

  19. i have fitted loads of radios that didnt have the cables marked - but its not a prob just takes a little longer to work out so wouldnt worry - apart from the labour costs!
  20. ohhhhh please - old idea that never really worked its not all to do with the CFM but how much pressure it is boosted to on this i suspect virtually nothing!
  21. LOL nice one! hey steve are those part of your Pimp daddy image??
  22. not having worked on the RX i am taking a pure guess here - you may have to remove a engine belly pan to get access to it - common practice on modern cars. as for the sludging( if this is happening) use a high detergent type of oil ( diesel type oil) but make sure it is the same spec ie 15-40 W or whatever you use. In your owners manual there is guide for ambient temperature/ oil grade. but i would have a chat with one of the mechs in the workshop( rather than the salesman) and ask about the sludging. I think the cost of the oil is disgusting - you can always buy the oil yourself and request them to use yours - that way you will save money.
