Good evening, It was great meeting those that came tonight and what a friendly pack of LOCy's you are! Thanks for the tour of the car Sam and to Lee for the spin in the IS - crikey it's nippy! ;) Glad you could make the trip down from Sunderland, Chris, even if we did miss eachother at first! Some vehicles have a "combination" that must be completed before this feature is activated. For example, the locking and unlocking of the car using the key fob, then opening the door then starting the engine. Almost like a 'trade secret' that is applied to a vehicle to enable such features. Suppose they could also be known as Easter Eggs :) Jamie

In the past I have known this to be the Speed Sensor, usually located in the gear box. An auto electrician will be able to confirm this for you though. Maybe someone else will be able to confirm or provide an alternative solution? Regards, Jamie
